dancer. biologist. designer.

Emily is a California-based digital designer, with an interest in immersive media and a soft spot for anything that involves music. For seven years Emily channeled her creativity into dance — she learned to visualize music, first as movement in her body and then as images in her mind. Her creative process today still relies on music, which is why some of her favorite work has come from collaborations with creatives in the music industry.

Emily studied Behavioral Biology at Stanford University, focusing specifically on how media influences and is influenced by human behavior. After completing a 3D animation workshop at the New York Film Academy, she will pursue a master’s degree in Communication, specializing in VR/AR experience design with Stanford’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab.

Emily is currently working as a freelance graphic and UI/UX designer.
